What is the 80/20 model?
Since our founding in 2015, we have operated according to an 80/20 model, in which 80% of what our clients pay goes directly to the consultant. This is a way of showing respect for both expertise and effort, and has been appreciated by everyone we work with.
Clear distribution of fees for everyone
We believe in transparency and openness. The goal is to avoid putting unnecessary pressure on the consultant, but it’s just as important that the client isn’t kept in the dark about where the fees are going.
Even today, there are consultants who, through intermediaries, are unaware of how much they are being paid. Various confidentiality clauses or “policies” are also used to conceal the consultant’s fee from the client. This is not sustainable in the long run, and it is a business ethic that we absolutely do not endorse.
Why the 80/20 model?
We believe that transparency and clarity in our communication with both clients and consultants pay off in the long run. By being open about our fees, both clients and consultants can feel confident in their partnership with Scandinavian Executive. We add value for both clients and consultants. As a client, you’ll have quick access to skilled interim consultants, responses within 1–3 days, no setup fees, and transparent pricing. And we don’t favor any particular consultant just to maximize our profit margin.
As a consultant, you’ll receive inquiries about assignments that match your skills and help in presenting yourself to the client in the best possible way. We act as your sales channel when you’re available for new assignments and support you throughout the entire assignment.
We don’t believe in hidden costs, confidentiality clauses, or uncertainty regarding fees. For us, it’s about building for the long term, not maximizing profits in the short term.
