Interim Regional Manager

Drives regional growth and results

An interim regional manager plays a crucial role when an organization is undergoing changes or needs temporary leadership expertise. This role involves responsibility for strategic direction, business development, and operational efficiency within a specific region. An interim solution allows the company to ensure continuity without having to wait for a permanent hire.

We help you find qualified interim regional managers who can take over responsibilities during a transition period, whether it involves a reorganization, a phase of expansion, or other critical moments. With our extensive experience and large network, we can match your organization with a leader who meets your needs.

Why choose Scandinavian Executive?

Fast and efficient recruitment process

When there is an urgent need for an interim regional manager, we work systematically and quickly. We identify the requirements, search our network, and present 3 to 4 relevant candidates within a few days. With clear criteria and full transparency, we present only the most suitable candidates. If none of them are a good fit, there is no charge.

Experience and adaptability

Our candidates have extensive industry experience and quickly settle into new organizations. They bring proven methodologies to the table and address both strategic and operational challenges, ensuring stability for the business during times of change. Their objective perspective also provides a valuable outside view.

Knowledge transfer and long-term value

An interim solution should leave lasting value. We encourage consultants to actively share methods and insights so that working practices and knowledge remain within the organization after the assignment ends. This creates long-term value.

When might an interim regional manager be needed?

In the event of restructuring or expansion

An interim regional manager can help lead change processes, ensure smooth transitions, and implement new strategies. This is particularly valuable during periods of growth or reorganization.

In the event of staff shortages or resignations

If a key employee suddenly leaves or if the permanent hiring process takes too long, an interim solution can provide immediate stability. This reduces the risk of operational disruptions.

For specific projects or development initiatives

Do you need expertise for a specific project, such as a market launch or a major business deal? An interim regional manager can provide the necessary expertise without any long-term commitments.

The recruitment process

Our recruitment process is fast, streamlined, and tailored to your needs. We ensure you find the right candidate quickly through a clear job description and an efficient screening process.

1. Scope of Work & Objectives

We listen carefully to your expectations, goals, and current situation. A job description or job posting can serve as a basis, and we conduct a structured interview with the client.

2. Search for candidates in the network

We select and contact approximately 20 suitable candidates. We conduct interviews with the relevant and available consultants we identify, based on the job description.

3. Quality Assurance

The top 3–4 candidates are presented to the client within 1–3 days. A follow-up meeting with the client is held to finalize the selection and plan the next steps.

4. Customer Interview – Background Check

The client conducts interviews, any tests they may require, and interviews with the candidate’s grandparents. References are checked as needed, and a background check may be conducted on the final candidate.

5. Contract

We draw up a contract specifying the duration and scope of the assignment, always with a transparent pricing structure so that both the client and the consultant know how the fee is allocated. We always pay 80% of the fee to the consultant. If the client is dissatisfied, the contract can be terminated with a maximum of one month’s notice.

6. Assignments are carried out

Throughout the project, we maintain regular contact with both the client and the consultant to address any questions or gather feedback necessary for a successful collaboration.

7. Conclusion – Potential Employment

The assignment is concluded as specified in the agreement; however, if the assignment was intended to lead to employment and both parties agree, it will result in a hiring. The recruitment fee decreases the longer the assignment has lasted.
