Interim Change Leaders who drive transformation

When your organization enters a new phase – think new systems, a fresh structure, or a new owner – every week of delay can really show up on your bottom line. An interim change leader, project manager, or PMO head will immediately take charge, set up clear governance, and push through the changes with tight control over time, costs, and quality. The consultant isn't just giving advice; they own the delivery and leave you with processes that keep working long after the project is done.

Over 150 successfully completed assignments

Find the perfect interim consultant with our spot-on process

Candidates that match the role

Our needs analysis pinpoints your goals, key stakeholders, and milestones. We then search our network of around 8000 specialists and present 3–4 candidates within five business days. Everyone is pre-screened for their methods, industry experience, and references, so your interviews can really focus on culture and chemistry.

No hidden fees

You'll see the total daily fee, with 80% going to the consultant and 20% to us. No start-up fees, no extra index charges, and no success fee if you decide to hire them permanently. This makes budget decisions simpler and builds trust right from the start.

Knowledge that stays with the team

The same advisor will stick with the assignment from the initial requirements all the way to go-live. We'll track KPIs, lend a hand if needed, and make sure governance models, templates, and risk registers are properly integrated into your operations. Plus, the assignment can later turn into a permanent role without needing a whole new recruitment process.

Why hire us?

When companies grow fast, leadership needs can change overnight. An interim manager is a flexible solution that ensures operations continue to run smoothly, no matter the challenges.

Benefits of having an interim change leader

Structured project and portfolio management

The change leader sets up a steering group, defines workstreams, and establishes clear decision points. A visual roadmap, risk matrix, and weekly reports make the project status super clear for management, IT, HR, and external partners. Any slowdowns get noticed early, and action is taken before the timeline goes off track.

Fast risk reduction and regulatory compliance

We use frameworks like Prosci, ISO, GDPR, and ESG to spot gaps, prioritize actions, and assign responsibilities. A sign-off checklist, version-controlled governance documents, and test protocols help minimize guesswork and ensure full compliance during audits.

Faster value realization

You'll see business benefits continuously through sprint deliveries, pilot groups, and 'train the trainer' programs. Users quickly start using new features, and we track KPIs like time to benefit, adoption rate, and process time weekly to show the real impact.

The recruitment process

Our recruitment process is quick, smooth, and tailored to your needs. We make sure you get the right candidate fast, thanks to a clear requirement profile and efficient selection.

1. Assignment Description & Goals

We carefully listen to your expectations, goals, and current situation. A role description or job advertisement can be used as a basis, and we'll also conduct a structured interview with the client.

2. Candidate Search within Our Network

Around 20 suitable candidates are selected and contacted. We then conduct interviews with the relevant and available consultants we find, based on the assignment description.

3. Quality Assurance

The best 3-4 candidates are presented to the client within 1-3 days. We then have a check-in with the client to plan the selection and next steps.

4. Interview with Client – Background Check

The client conducts their interviews, any internal tests, and a final senior-level interview. References are taken if needed, and a background check can be performed on the final candidate.

5. Contract

An agreement outlining the length and scope of the assignment is drafted, always with transparent pricing so both the client and consultant know how the fee is distributed. We always pay 80% of the fee to the consultant. If the client is not satisfied, the contract can be terminated with a maximum of one month's notice.

6. Assignment Commences

During the assignment, we keep in regular contact with both the client and the consultant to catch any questions or feedback needed for a successful collaboration.

7. Wrap-up – potential employment

The assignment wraps up as per the agreement, or if the goal was employment and both parties are on board, it turns into a recruitment. The recruitment fee gets lower the longer the assignment has been going on.

Key traits for successful execution

Holistic analysis and methodological expertise

The consultant quickly grasps the current situation, cost and revenue drivers, technology, and culture. Work-breakdown structures, critical path analysis, and business case follow-ups provide a shared factual basis for decisions.

Communicative leadership and stakeholder management

Messages and situation updates are tailored for the board, management team, individual teams, and union representatives. Workshops, FAQ hubs, and open Q&A sessions build trust and reduce resistance.

Decisive leadership and adaptive action

Changes in the external environment or internal priorities are handled without losing time. Plans B and C are already outlined and triggered by clear criteria. This way, the project keeps its momentum even when conditions change.
