The Right Profile for Public Sector Operations

Consultants with the right background for the public sector

We only match consultants who have experience working in or closely with the public sector. They understand how budget processes work, how collaboration between departments operates, and how to manage relationships with both governing bodies and operational units. This provides peace of mind for you and for those working within the organization.

Accurate matching at a fast pace

Whether it’s a planned transition or an urgent replacement, we work quickly and systematically. After conducting a needs assessment, we search our network of quality-assured consultants and typically present three candidates within 2–3 days. You’ll receive immediate access to their background, availability, and fees—no detours, no delays.

Clear breakdown with no hidden fees

We operate a transparent pricing model in which 80% of the fee goes to the consultant and 20% to us. There are no upfront costs and no performance-based surcharges. Our role is to provide security and clarity for both the client and the consultant. This ensures that the collaboration runs more smoothly, especially in the public sector, where accountability and legal certainty are paramount.

Why choose us?

When companies grow rapidly, leadership needs can change overnight. An interim manager is a flexible solution that ensures operations continue to run smoothly, regardless of the challenges.

Hire an interim consultant

When there is an urgent need for a project or a permanent position, an interim consultant can fill a critical gap.

A structured,
, interim manager with significant responsibilities

Stability in a fast-paced everyday life

Operations must continue uninterrupted, regardless of staff turnover, reorganization, or changes in responsibilities. An interim manager takes over immediately, keeps the team on track, and ensures that quality, staffing, and processes do not lose momentum.

Well-versed in public regulations

The public sector has its own specific framework. Our consultants are accustomed to working within the framework of the Freedom of Information Act, the Act on Choice in Care (LOV), the Social Services Act (SoL), or the Education Act, and they respect the dialogue with policymakers. This enables them to act with insight and responsibility, regardless of whether the assignment is operational or strategic.

Improvements you can feel in your daily life

An interim manager is often brought in to keep an organization running smoothly, but also to drive improvement. Our consultants are proactive and grounded in day-to-day operations. They ensure that new procedures are established and implemented in a way that works for the employees.

The recruitment process

Our recruitment process is fast, streamlined, and tailored to your needs. We ensure you find the right candidate quickly through a clear job description and an efficient screening process.

1. Scope of Work & Objectives

We listen carefully to your expectations, goals, and current situation. A job description or job posting can serve as a basis, and we conduct a structured interview with the client.

2. Search for candidates in the network

We select and contact approximately 20 suitable candidates. We conduct interviews with the relevant and available consultants we identify, based on the job description.

3. Quality Assurance

The top 3–4 candidates are presented to the client within 1–3 days. A follow-up meeting with the client is held to finalize the selection and plan the next steps.

4. Customer Interview – Background Check

The client conducts interviews, any tests they may require, and interviews with the candidate’s grandparents. References are checked as needed, and a background check may be conducted on the final candidate.

5. Contract

We draw up a contract specifying the duration and scope of the assignment, always with a transparent pricing structure so that both the client and the consultant know how the fee is allocated. We always pay 80% of the fee to the consultant. If the client is dissatisfied, the contract can be terminated with a maximum of one month’s notice.

6. Assignments are carried out

Throughout the project, we maintain regular contact with both the client and the consultant to address any questions or gather feedback necessary for a successful collaboration.

7. Conclusion – Potential Employment

The assignment is concluded as specified in the agreement; however, if the assignment was intended to lead to employment and both parties agree, it will result in a hiring. The recruitment fee decreases the longer the assignment has lasted.

What is required of an interim manager in the public sector?

Understanding of systems, governance, and the interplay between them

Leadership in the public sector requires a broad perspective, attention to detail, and the ability to work within governance models that are not always designed for quick decision-making. Our interim managers know how to make progress within given parameters while building trust among both fellow executives and employees.

Confidence in communication and approach

When many people are affected, and when the organization’s mission has a significant impact on society, the interim manager must communicate clearly and tactfully. Our consultants have the ability to build trust in both one-on-one conversations and large forums.

Leading in the present – with an eye to the future

Our interim manager steps in and takes charge of what’s happening right now, without losing sight of the bigger picture. They take a structured approach to staffing, goals, quality, and follow-up, while also creating room for improvement. It is precisely this ability that ensures the assignment leaves a lasting impact.
