Interim Operations Manager

The right leadership, at the right time

When an entire organization faces change, a temporary leadership vacuum, or rapidly increasing demands, it needs leadership that can step in and take charge immediately. An interim operations manager assumes full responsibility for operations, personnel, and finances without any learning curve and ensures that performance remains consistent, even as conditions shift. Operations managers step into complex situations and quickly gain control over both the current state and the direction of the organization. It’s about building trust, structuring the big picture, and keeping track of the details at the same time. The right leadership, at the right time, makes all the difference.

Why hire an operations manager through us?

Real-world experience

We work with operations managers who have held similar responsibilities in real-world settings. They have led change initiatives, managed high staff turnover, stayed within budget, and worked under pressure from multiple directions. That’s why they can step right in and keep the momentum going.

No unnecessary steps—just the right person, fast

We quickly identify your needs and screen our network of over 8,000 consultants. Within a few days, we’ll present three to four qualified candidates in strict confidence. There are no upfront fees, and our fee structure is fully transparent.

Fill the gap with an interim operations manager

Security for the organization

When a position is vacant, the business risks losing momentum. An interim manager ensures stability, clear communication, and effective day-to-day management so that operations continue as usual.

Control in every direction

The consultant quickly familiarizes themselves with the organization’s structure, goals, and resource situation. What works is supported, while areas needing improvement are prioritized in a straightforward action plan that includes responsible parties and a timeline. This allows the business to improve while operations continue as usual.

Results and relationships at the same time

Our managers lead large teams and engage with many stakeholders. They create work environments that foster both high performance and well-being, ensuring that the organization delivers results while maintaining a healthy culture.

The recruitment process

Our recruitment process is fast, streamlined, and tailored to your needs. We ensure you find the right candidate quickly through a clear job description and an efficient screening process.

1. Scope of Work & Objectives

We listen carefully to your expectations, goals, and current situation. A job description or job posting can serve as a basis, and we conduct a structured interview with the client.

2. Search for candidates in the network

We select and contact approximately 20 suitable candidates. We conduct interviews with the relevant and available consultants we identify, based on the job description.

3. Quality Assurance

The top 3–4 candidates are presented to the client within 1–3 days. A follow-up meeting with the client is held to finalize the selection and plan the next steps.

4. Customer Interview – Background Check

The client conducts interviews, any tests they may require, and interviews with the candidate’s grandparents. References are checked as needed, and a background check may be conducted on the final candidate.

5. Contract

We draw up a contract specifying the duration and scope of the assignment, always with a transparent pricing structure so that both the client and the consultant know how the fee is allocated. We always pay 80% of the fee to the consultant. If the client is dissatisfied, the contract can be terminated with a maximum of one month’s notice.

6. Assignments are carried out

Throughout the project, we maintain regular contact with both the client and the consultant to address any questions or gather feedback necessary for a successful collaboration.

7. Conclusion – Potential Employment

The assignment is concluded as specified in the agreement; however, if the assignment was intended to lead to employment and both parties agree, it will result in a hiring. The recruitment fee decreases the longer the assignment has lasted.

Experience with personnel management and scheduling

Quick understanding, fast delivery

The manager quickly assesses the situation, prioritizes issues that affect operations and quality, and takes charge from day one. Decisions are based on facts such as key performance indicators, staffing levels, and agreed-upon service levels, which shortens the time to results.

Communication that builds trust

Plans are supported at all levels—upward, downward, and across departments. Employees are actively involved, management receives clear reports, and collaboration with other departments runs smoothly.

Overall responsibility with an eye for detail

Day-to-day operations and long-term development go hand in hand. Budgets and goals are monitored, while the manager stays closely involved in the day-to-day operations and keeps track of what is happening on a daily basis.
