How to Get the Purchasing Power You Need When You Need It

Candidates who are already proficient in your categories

Whether it’s the automotive industry, FMCG, or complex project procurement, we filter our network of 8,000 quality-assured consultants by industry, ERP system, and international contract formats. This ensures you’re matched with professionals who are familiar with the terminology, supplier landscapes, and legal requirements before the first meeting even ends.

Transparent 80/20 model from the initial quote

We have no hidden fees. 80% of the fee goes to the consultant, and 20% to us—a split that provides clear budget control and makes it easy to compare the total cost with in-house solutions. Billing begins only once the right person is on board.

A personal partner every step of the way

You’ll have the same point of contact throughout the entire process, from needs assessment to contract drafting. We’re available evenings and weekends until the consultant is on board and delivering results; after that, we follow up on a monthly basis to ensure that goals are met.

Why choose us?

When companies grow rapidly, leadership needs can change overnight. An interim manager is a flexible solution that ensures operations continue to run smoothly, regardless of the challenges.

The Benefits of a Procurement Consultant

Faster savings and improved cash flow

The consultant assesses total spending, identifies quick wins, and provides the board or management with a clear cost-saving plan. By renegotiating volume agreements and adopting smarter Incoterms, capital is freed up that can be reinvested in the core business.

Reduced delivery risk in uncertain times

An interim procurement manager reviews single-source dependencies, identifies alternative suppliers, and develops more robust inventory strategies. This reduces the risk of production stoppages and ensures greater delivery accuracy to customers, even when global supply chains are disrupted.

Data-driven procurement that continues beyond the project

The consultant establishes KPIs for cost savings, delivery accuracy, and CSR monitoring. The reports are integrated into existing BI tools so that the procurement team can continue to make data-driven decisions once the project is complete.

The recruitment process

Our recruitment process is fast, streamlined, and tailored to your needs. We ensure you find the right candidate quickly through a clear job description and an efficient screening process.

1. Scope of Work & Objectives

We listen carefully to your expectations, goals, and current situation. A job description or job posting can serve as a basis, and we conduct a structured interview with the client.

2. Search for candidates in the network

We select and contact approximately 20 suitable candidates. We conduct interviews with the relevant and available consultants we identify, based on the job description.

3. Quality Assurance

The top 3–4 candidates are presented to the client within 1–3 days. A follow-up meeting with the client is held to finalize the selection and plan the next steps.

4. Customer Interview – Background Check

The client conducts interviews, any tests they may require, and interviews with the candidate’s grandparents. References are checked as needed, and a background check may be conducted on the final candidate.

5. Contract

We draw up a contract specifying the duration and scope of the assignment, always with a transparent pricing structure so that both the client and the consultant know how the fee is allocated. We always pay 80% of the fee to the consultant. If the client is dissatisfied, the contract can be terminated with a maximum of one month’s notice.

6. Assignments are carried out

Throughout the project, we maintain regular contact with both the client and the consultant to address any questions or gather feedback necessary for a successful collaboration.

7. Conclusion – Potential Employment

The assignment is concluded as specified in the agreement; however, if the assignment was intended to lead to employment and both parties agree, it will result in a hiring. The recruitment fee decreases the longer the assignment has lasted.

What Sets a Good Interim Buyer Apart

Negotiation experts with an international reach

Our consultants are experienced in handling everything from electronics manufacturing in Asia to European framework agreements for indirect materials. They speak the supplier’s language—both literally and in business terms—which leads to faster deal closures and better terms.

Structured Change Leaders

A strong procurement function requires standardized processes. The consultant documents workflows, implements category management, and coaches internal staff on best-practice methodologies. The result is a team that continues to deliver results even after the consultant has left.

Business-oriented communicator

Purchasing affects everyone from R&D to customer service. The interim consultant translates cost analysis into clear arguments that get management, production, and marketing to pull in the same direction. This reduces internal friction and maximizes the impact of every dollar spent.
