When component shortages, shipping disruptions, or a surge in demand threaten the supply chain, an interim Supply Chain Manager is needed to take charge of forecasting, inventory, transport contracts, and production immediately. That’s why companies hire us as supply chain managers

Quick access to proven profiles

We start with a needs analysis that identifies bottlenecks, system environments, and service requirements. We then filter our network of over 8,000 quality-assured interim consultants based on industry experience, ERP/WMS expertise, and LEAN credentials. The result: the right manager in place within days, not months.

A comprehensive and up-to-date specialist database

Whether you run a global e-commerce business, a complex discrete manufacturing operation, or a regulated life sciences company, we have candidates who have already tackled similar challenges. Our network includes everything from S&OP specialists to last-mile experts and logistics developers.

The 80/20 pricing model provides full cost transparency

We charge no upfront fees and have a clear fee structure: 80% of the fee goes directly to the consultant, and 20% to us. This builds trust and makes it easy to budget for the total cost of the assignment.

Why choose us?

When companies grow rapidly, leadership needs can change overnight. An interim manager is a flexible solution that ensures operations continue to run smoothly, regardless of the challenges.

Hire an interim consultant

When there is an urgent need for a project or a permanent position, an interim consultant can fill a critical gap.

150+ successfully completed projects

Stability in the supply chain in a short period of time

Immediate stability in the supply chain

The consultant ensures a steady supply of materials by analyzing demand forecasts, updating buffer levels, and prioritizing critical orders. You reduce the risk of production stoppages and can meet customer delivery deadlines even under pressure.

More efficient processes and freed-up capital

Through LEAN mapping and data-driven inventory optimization, waste is identified in the transportation, warehousing, and planning stages. The manager negotiates shipping contracts, aligns planning horizons, and reduces inventory value without compromising service levels, thereby freeing up capital for the core business.

Risk reduction and a more robust basis for decision-making

The interim manager develops risk matrices for single-source dependencies, geopolitical threats, and transport-sensitive supply chains. Combined with updated KPI reports, this provides management with a clear view of the future, enabling faster and more informed decisions regarding, for example, dual sourcing or nearshoring.

The recruitment process

Our recruitment process is fast, streamlined, and tailored to your needs. We ensure you find the right candidate quickly through a clear job description and an efficient screening process.

1. Scope of Work & Objectives

We listen carefully to your expectations, goals, and current situation. A job description or job posting can serve as a basis, and we conduct a structured interview with the client.

2. Search for candidates in the network

We select and contact approximately 20 suitable candidates. We conduct interviews with the relevant and available consultants we identify, based on the job description.

3. Quality Assurance

The top 3–4 candidates are presented to the client within 1–3 days. A follow-up meeting with the client is held to finalize the selection and plan the next steps.

4. Customer Interview – Background Check

The client conducts interviews, any tests they may require, and interviews with the candidate’s grandparents. References are checked as needed, and a background check may be conducted on the final candidate.

5. Contract

We draw up a contract specifying the duration and scope of the assignment, always with a transparent pricing structure so that both the client and the consultant know how the fee is allocated. We always pay 80% of the fee to the consultant. If the client is dissatisfied, the contract can be terminated with a maximum of one month’s notice.

6. Assignments are carried out

Throughout the project, we maintain regular contact with both the client and the consultant to address any questions or gather feedback necessary for a successful collaboration.

7. Conclusion – Potential Employment

The assignment is concluded as specified in the agreement; however, if the assignment was intended to lead to employment and both parties agree, it will result in a hiring. The recruitment fee decreases the longer the assignment has lasted.

Key qualities of a supply chain manager

An analytical bird's-eye view combined with meticulous detail

Our consultants read supply chain data the way others read novels: they spot patterns, anomalies, and opportunities in real time. At the same time, they have enough operational experience to know how a broken pallet conveyor or a delayed container affects the bottom line.

Communicative Change Leader

A supply chain spans multiple departments and countries. The interim manager translates KPIs into language that is understandable to procurement, production, customer service, and management. This creates a shared direction and a culture where facts drive the discussion.

Hands-on leadership and knowledge transfer

The goal is not just to put out fires, but to leave behind a stronger organization. That is why the consultant develops standardized workflows, trains staff in problem-solving methodologies, and ensures that the knowledge remains in place once the assignment is complete.
