Interim Quality Manager

Drives standards, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement

Quality is more than an ISO certificate – it is a competitive advantage that drives customer loyalty, margins and brand trust. When your quality manager leaves at short notice, a new product family is about to be launched or an audit is approaching, leadership is needed that delivers from day one. An interim quality manager takes immediate responsibility for the quality management system, deviation management and customer requirements. With experience from complex manufacturing, food or medtech, they analyze process capability in the first week, create a risk-based action plan and ensure that you meet both internal and external requirements even before the next audit.

Fast and accurate matching

Ready-to-go quality managers without any detours

After a short needs discussion, we map standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, BRC and GMP as well as current deviations. We filter approximately 8000 quality-assured interim consultants and present 3 to 4 candidates within five working days. All meet technical requirements, fit the culture and have documented delivery in audit-critical environments.

No mark-ups afterwards

The cost picture is clear. 80% of the fee goes to the consultant and 20% to us. No start-up fee, no hidden charges and no commitment period if priorities change. You see the total price and preliminary 90-day plan before making a decision.

Knowledge that stays in the business

Your advisor follows the assignment from requirements profile to handover. During the assignment, documented procedures, digital deviation logs and KPI boards are established that stay in the organization. If the collaboration works, the consultant can transition to a permanent position at no extra cost.

Why choose us?

When companies grow rapidly, leadership needs can change overnight. An interim manager is a flexible solution that ensures operations continue to run smoothly, regardless of the challenges.

Hire an interim consultant

When there is an urgent need for a project or a permanent position, an interim consultant can fill a critical gap.

150+ successfully completed projects

Fewer errors and less waste

Audit preparedness and compliance

The interim manager conducts gap analysis against applicable standards, closes open deviations and leads preparations for third-party audits. With structured risk assessments and traceable document control, the risk of non-conformities and costly re-audits is minimized.

Reduced quality costs

Through systematic root cause analysis and data-driven process capability monitoring, scrap, rework and field returns are reduced. Costs for poor quality are reduced while product availability and customer satisfaction increase.

Entrenched improvement culture

Employees are trained in 8D, FMEA and statistical process control, and daily management is supplemented with visual KPI boards. Commitment increases, improvement suggestions flow in and quality work becomes an integrated part of everyday life, not a separate function.

The recruitment process

Our recruitment process is fast, streamlined, and tailored to your needs. We ensure you find the right candidate quickly through a clear job description and an efficient screening process.

1. Scope of Work & Objectives

We listen carefully to your expectations, goals, and current situation. A job description or job posting can serve as a basis, and we conduct a structured interview with the client.

2. Search for candidates in the network

We select and contact approximately 20 suitable candidates. We conduct interviews with the relevant and available consultants we identify, based on the job description.

3. Quality Assurance

The top 3–4 candidates are presented to the client within 1–3 days. A follow-up meeting with the client is held to finalize the selection and plan the next steps.

4. Customer Interview – Background Check

The client conducts interviews, any tests they may require, and interviews with the candidate’s grandparents. References are checked as needed, and a background check may be conducted on the final candidate.

5. Contract

We draw up a contract specifying the duration and scope of the assignment, always with a transparent pricing structure so that both the client and the consultant know how the fee is allocated. We always pay 80% of the fee to the consultant. If the client is dissatisfied, the contract can be terminated with a maximum of one month’s notice.

6. Assignments are carried out

Throughout the project, we maintain regular contact with both the client and the consultant to address any questions or gather feedback necessary for a successful collaboration.

7. Conclusion – Potential Employment

The assignment is concluded as specified in the agreement; however, if the assignment was intended to lead to employment and both parties agree, it will result in a hiring. The recruitment fee decreases the longer the assignment has lasted.

What does an experienced interim quality manager contribute?

Holistic systems expertise

The leader must master the entire PDCA cycle – from policy to internal audit – and be able to translate customer and regulatory requirements into practical instructions that work on the floor.

Communicative leadership at all levels

Quality builds bridges between operator, development, purchasing and customer. A successful quality manager speaks as freely with auditors as with shift teams and can drive change without a top-down mandate.

Decision-making power and adaptive action power

When deviations threaten the delivery plan, quick, fact-based decisions and clear prioritization between cost, risk, and customer promise are required. The interim manager handles incident reports, customer complaints, and change requests with the same methodical calm.
