From interim solution to strategic recruitment: A successful case in procurement and supply chain

A year ago, we got a request for an assignment where the client needed to strengthen their procurement organization.
They had completed an international acquisition that doubled their turnover, which also meant a bigger scope for the procurement team's tasks!

We found an interim consultant from our network who quickly got into the assignment and added value across the entire supply chain work. After a few months, they even got more responsibility and started working with strategic procurement.

When the client later needed to strengthen their procurement department in China, they were looking for a qualified person who understood the business, procurement, and logistics, and who was also willing to move to China…

We see this as a win-win situation.

First, there's the company that got help solving several critical tasks over the past year and even managed a recruitment in the process. The risk that always comes with recruitment is significantly lower if you've already hired the person and seen how they perform in practice.

Then there's the consultant, who's now off on an exciting adventure! Over the past year, they've gained more responsibility and taken on really stimulating tasks at a thrilling, fast-growing company!
