Regional Managers for two regions – two different needs
The client company is active in the service industry
The client company operates in the service sector, focusing on construction and real estate. In two different parts of the company, there were challenges of very different natures. In one case, there was a great need for project follow-up and financial control primarily, and the organization needed guidance from someone experienced in that area. The other part of the company had a challenge more focused on HR issues, requiring close leadership and a profile that could offer a coaching approach.
Together with management, we managed to find several suitable candidates for both roles, but it quickly became very clear which consultants were best suited for each assignment. The assignments started quickly, and both leaders thrived in their respective environments, quickly contributing to creating added value in their units.
The lesson here is to incorporate personality, character, and values, combined with the consultant's competence and experience. With the help of their quick and varied efforts, both units could focus on customers and business, and the assignments have been very successful and appreciated by the client.
