Interim is a team effort

Interim is a team effort. It’s about all of us working together—the client, the consultant, and us as the interim staffing agency. If we collaborate with the goal of everyone contributing, the results will be so much better.

We summarize this dynamic as a triangle in which all parties are equally important. And it is the collaboration along the sides—between the parties—that leads to success.

Clarity and commitment from the customer

As a client, you need to have a clear set of requirements and be able to share them with us. We want the manager in charge to be involved from the very beginning of the process, and we want to maintain an open dialogue throughout. Clients who also prioritize a professional onboarding process (even if it’s brief) always get more value from their interim consultant.

A consultant who comes in with the right attitude

Our consultant, whose profile matches the assignment, familiarizes themselves with the company and its challenges. They have the experience to gauge and understand the client’s expectations and can ask questions to define the scope and deliver what is requested.

As facilitators, we bring everything together

Our mission? As an interim staffing agency, we listen to truly understand our clients’ challenges. With our experience and background in the industry, it’s likely a situation we’ve encountered before and recognize. Based on that, we select the best consultant for the assignment, and through ongoing dialogue with both the client and the consultant, we maintain a close working relationship throughout the entire assignment. We listen, ask questions, follow up, and ensure continuity and quality throughout the process.

One of our customers sums it up well:

“You understood our situation, clearly identified our needs, and I came to have great confidence in you. The hiring process went quickly, and we really found someone who understood us and our situation! Our business will now be in a much better position to succeed.”

Three parties and the interplay between them

However, a successful interim assignment also depends on all three parties working together and knowing what they are expected to contribute. In other words, it is the collaboration in the “gaps” that determines whether it succeeds.

In practice, this means:

Between the client and the broker – understanding needs, open communication, and reliable matching.

Between the client and the consultant – clarity regarding roles and expectations, an actively involved manager, and the consultant delivering results quickly.

Between consultant and recruiter – transparency, fair terms, and ongoing communication throughout the assignment.

When we approach our work with transparency, responsiveness, and mutual trust, the project becomes something that creates real value. For all three of us.
